Ce morceau était assez mal barré au départ. Ecrit comme toujours sur une simple guitare acoustique, il ne rendait pas grand-chose sous cette forme. J'ai tout de suite essayé de lui donner un aspect très synthétique (boîte à rythme et clavier cheaps) mais c'était encore pire : on aurait dit un mauvais plagiat d'Indochine. Finalement, en revenant à des sons plus "normaux" (batterie et piano), j'ai trouvé quelque chose d'intéressant à creuser...
This song was pretty much nothing at the beginning. I wrote it as an acoustic fingerpicked ballad but it didn't work this way. So I immediately tried to change it with a more synthetized approach (using a beatbox and cheap keyboards) but it was even worse : it sounded like a bad parody of a 1980's band.
Finally, I had to come back to a "normal" instrumentation (drumset and piano) to find something interesting to work with...
