Ce morceau a d'abord été écrit comme une ballade folk sur le thème de l'amour protecteur, et puis un refrain plutôt accrocheur a fini par s'imposer de lui-même et demander toujours plus de rythme et d'instrument. Jusqu'à la limite du raisonnable peut-être, mais qu'importe : j'ai toujours voulu entendre des choeurs grégoriens sur une de mes chansons, autant que cela arrive sur une où je ne me prend pas trop la tête.
At first, this was a straight folk ballad about wondering "who's taking care of me ?", but I found this really catchy chorus to get along, and from this point the song turned into something bigger, always begging for more rythm and instruments. Maybe I went too far with this one, but whatever : I always wanted to hear a gregorian choir on one of my songs, I'm glad I could do it on this somehow humble little song.
