Habituellement, j'écris mes paroles de façon plutôt simple et narrative, il suffit juste de savoir de quoi je parle pour comprendre chaque ligne. La métaphore filée que j'utilise ici m'est pourtant venue naturellement, de même que la progression d'accords des couplets, assez inhabituelle pour moi.
I usually write my lyrics in a very simple and narrative way, so that you only need to know what I'm referring to in order to understand the whole thing. But the extended metaphor I use here sort of came up naturally to me, as well as the very unusual chord progression I wrote for the verses.
